Master of Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance (PTQA)

The Master of Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance is a postgraduate program designed to advance scientific and professional knowledge in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality systems. The program offers an integrated curriculum that combines theoretical study with practical application, preparing specialists capable of contributing to the development and efficiency of the pharmaceutical industry. It also equips students to engage in pharmaceutical research and innovation aligned with the latest advancements in drug technology and quality assurance.

To provide advanced pharmaceutical knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical technology, quality assurance, research, and engaging in community partnership.

• Acquire proficiency in pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Instruct students in quality assurance and control procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assess and apply advanced scientific research methodologies in the realms of pharmaceutical technology and quality assurance.
• Encourage the development of leadership skills, social responsibility, and voluntary work within pharmaceutical services. 

• Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field with a minimum GPA of “Good.”
• Applicants must be of good conduct and medically fit.
• Applicants must pass an English language proficiency test (if announced).
• Additional requirements may be specified by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.

• The program consists of coursework, including a graduation research project.
• The total credit hours are 32, distributed over two academic years.
