About ASU

The academic services unit at the College of Pharmacy is concerned with following up on all matters related to the student in the educational and academic fields. It strives to provide a stimulating educational environment inside the classrooms and find solutions to increase the comprehension efficiency. The duties of the unit can be summarized as follows:
  • Providing academic services of high quality to students throughout the academic year.
  • Receiving and evaluating requests for academic course equivalency and providing recommendations to the College Board.
  • Receiving and processing requests for exceptional opportunities for subsequent re-enrollment and academic dismissal according to the rules and regulations and presenting them to the College Board.
  • Receiving and processing applications for re-enrollment, attendance exemption for denied students, and withdraw from a course or a semester after the deadline according to the rules and regulations and presenting them to the College Board.
  • Receiving requests for alternative assessment and discuss them with the Excuses Committee.
  • Guiding and counseling students and resolving issues related to academic achievement.
  • Receiving student complaints, suggesting solutions, and reporting them to the Dean of the college.
  • Supervising activities of the orientation week and instructional sessions at the college.
  • Promoting student loyalty to the college and the university.
