Welcome to the website of the College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University.
Since its foundation, the college has been vigorously keeping pace with its counterparts from advanced universities internally and externally with broad experience in the field of pharmacy. It seeks to implement the principle of starting from where others had stopped, and to benefit from their educational and research experiences. Despite its recent establishment, the College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University has reached competitive levels in the field of pharmacy education, scientific research, and enhancing the role of community service entrusted to it through effective and rich partnerships.
At the College of Pharmacy, we, the administration, faculty members, employees, and students look forward to excellence and focus on achieving the strategic goals of the college that are aligned with the vision and goals of King Khalid University, as well as the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
About the Dean
Dr. Abdulrhman Alsayari obtained his bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the College of Pharmacy at King Saud University in 2006, and he was appointed as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University in the same year. He then obtained PhD degree from the University of South Dakota in the United States, in drug discovery and natural products chemistry in 2015. In the following year, he was appointed dean of the College of Pharmacy at King Khalid University.
Dr. Alsayari has participated in the membership of several committees at the college, the university, and regional levels. He has over 30 research papers published in scientific journals in the field of drug design and discovery and pharmacy education.
